　　STRAY birds of summer come to my window to sing and fly away.

　　And yellow leaves of autumn, which have no songs, flutter and fall there with a sigh.

　　夏日的游鳥來到我的窗前歌唱，又飛去了。

　　秋日的黃葉，無歌可唱，嘆一聲飄落在那里。

　　O TROUPE of little vagrants of the world, leave your footprints in my words.

　　世界的小小漂泊者啊，把你們的足印留在我的文字里吧。

　　THE world puts off its mask of vastness to its lover.

　　It becomes small as one song, as one kiss of the eternal.

　　世界向它的愛人摘下了自己浩瀚的面具。

　　它變得小如一支歌謠，一個永恒的吻。

　　IT is the tears of the earth that keep her smiles in bloom.

　　是大地的淚水使她的微笑燦爛常在。

　　THE mighty desert is burning for the love of a blade of grass whoshakes her head and laughs and flies away.

　　雄偉的沙漠為一葉綠草的愛情燃燒著，她搖著頭，淺笑著飛走了。

　　IF you shed tears when you miss the sun, you also miss the stars.

　　如果你為失去太陽而流淚，那么你也將失去群星了。
