保護環境是從一點一滴的小事做起，而我卻沒有做好。有一次過新年，我們去順峰山公園游玩，騎完自行車，我們個個都餓了，我們買了一小包零食來吃，而我，吃完零食，我因為高興過頭了，所以隨手就把我吃過的7包零食的包裝扔在地上，然后我進去便利店里面看電視，盡管今天的電視劇很好看，過了半個小時，我把以前媽媽跟我說的話忘得一干二凈，我所有的心思都沉迷在這個電視劇里面。在過了三十分鐘，我才想起來，可是，這時候，媽媽生氣的走過來說：“你這個臭丫頭，難道我以前跟你說的要保護環境，你都忘了嗎?”我說：“我不是忘了，我只是顧著看電視。”媽媽說：“看電視重要一些，還是撿垃圾重要一些?”我說：“撿垃圾。”媽媽說：“那你快點撿呀。”
然后，我撿起一小堆垃圾，扔進垃圾桶，我不但向媽媽認錯了，我也向順峰山公園的每一個掃地阿姨認了錯。因為，如果每個人都扔一塊垃圾在地面，那么就會給清潔阿姨增加負擔。如果你看見一塊垃圾在地面，那你就彎彎腰，動動手，做一個保護環境的人，那么就會給清潔阿姨減少負擔……
雖然這件事已經過去一年了，但是，這件事讓我學會了，如果世界上都扔一塊垃圾在地面，那么整個地球就會變成一片廢區，所以我們每個人都要保護環境，保護地球，世界才會更美好!

But we can‘ t ignore the fact the air we take in and the water we drink today are not as fresh and clean as they used to be. Some kinds of pollution can even be deadly to people. It is high time that we took some measures to solve the problem.
