Dear Mr. Camay

I would like to present my application for the post of police sergeant that I saw in the employment news dated 03rd August 2012. I am enclosing my resume for your convenience and perusal.

I have done my graduation in Criminal justice from Stanford University. I have worked for three years in Oval police department as a police sergeant. I am very hard working and like to accept challenges that are involved with this job. I have very well verbal and written communication skills. I am capable of supervising patrolling staffs, report my seniors with the updates of ongoing cases.

I am also skilled in securing the crime spot and in gathering evidence. I am well versed to prepare crime reports and can also impart training to the new staffs. I have got special training to handle emergency situation and can also operate arms.
