　　After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, I underwent a three-month internship at a local laboratory in my area. I have also successfully completed the certification program conducted by “The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)”. Right after my initial training and certification, I joined ‘XYZ’ - a multi-speciality hospital, as an assistant technician. Within 6 months of working at XYZ, I was promoted to the position of a Pharmacy technician based on my ability to grasp processes and handle varied responsibilities.

　　Over the past 2 years at XYZ hospital, I have gained valuable skills as a pharmacy technician. I perform a wide range of tasks including preparing medications, weighing and measuring the right dosage, creating labels, monitoring the supply and storage of drugs/injections/medical supplies and many general administrative tasks. In addition to the above mentioned areas, I am also involved with preparing insurance claim forms, maintaining patients’ records and billing information, maintaining inventories and offering general assistance to patients.

　　I keep myself updated with the latest trends and developments in pharmacy. I regularly attend training sessions & seminars to learn about new laboratory methods, latest medications, and other advancements in healthcare.

　　I love to interact with people and help them with their healthcare needs. My communication skills coupled with my knowledge of medical processes allows me to offer the right assistance to patients. I am known to be a reliable, hardworking and skilled technician, and have been appreciated for my efforts consistently.

　　After acquiring adequate experience in this field, I now want to become a part of a bigger setup where my skills and experience can be put to effective use. Working at your laboratory will give me an opportunity to further advance my technical and administrative skills and provide a boost to my career.
