傷不起詞語解釋
由國家語言資源監測與研究中心、商務印書館及媒體聯合發布的“漢語盤點2011年度字詞”揭曉。“控”和“傷不起”分列年度國內字詞首位。

The phrase shang bu qi, which means too delicate to bear a blow, was chosen as the phrase of the year, revealing the public's sensitivity to personal and social problems, and their call for justice and equity.
“傷不起”入選年度詞語，表現出公眾對個人和社會問題的敏感，以及他們對公平和正義的呼喚。
文中的too delicate to bear a blow就是指“傷不起”，delicate在這里是指“敏感的，敏銳的”，bear a blow是指“承受打擊”。
這一被網絡熱捧的roaring genre（咆哮體）詞匯，從本義上來說，是一種掙扎，也是一種呼喚，它反映的不僅僅是national entertainment（全民娛樂）的狀態，更是一種public appeal（公共訴求）。這種公共訴求，反映在the people's livelihood（民生）的各個領域，涉及教育、醫療和衣食住行，更涉及公眾對于這個世界的一些看法。“傷不起”的存在，其實是對社會undesirable phenomena（不良現象）的一種糾偏。
