一、課程性質、目的和任務
1. 本課程為專業英語本科生必修的一門英語基礎課程。
2. 通過培養學生掌握一定的閱讀技巧提高學習英語的層次,擴大英語詞匯,獲取一定的英語國家文化知識和其他有益信息，為英語其他技能的掌握打下良好的基礎。
本課程是針對英語基本技能中的閱讀技能而開設,目的是為了提高學生的綜合閱讀能力,能夠讀懂一定難度的英語文章,通過學習,學生能夠掌握一般的閱讀技巧。
二、教學內容及要求
1.根據課本內容，獲取一定的知識。
2.通過閱讀，培養學生的閱讀效率，并增加一些相關詞匯。
3.本課程共128個學時，兩學年完成;教材分為四冊，每學期一冊
英語閱讀(第一冊)
