　　in spite of this , i think its gain s outweigh its losses . it also means more employment and more income for the country . for this r eason the tourist indust ry should be developed vigorou sly so as to meet the needs of our socialist economy

　　advantages of travel

　　travel is beneficial to us in at least three ways .fir st , by t raveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in dif ferent places . we will see with our own eyes many places read of in books , and visit some famou s cities and scenic spots .

　　second , we will meet people with different inter ests and see st range and dif ferent things when we t ravel . we can get ideas of the condition s and customs of other people, taste diffe rent foods and local flavours if we like . in this way , we can unde rstand how dif fe rently othe r people live .

　　third , t ravel will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deep love for our mothe rland , but also will help us keep healthy and make u s less nar row-minded . travel does benefit us both mentally and physically .

　　with all these advantages of t ravel , it is no wonder that travel has now become more popular than ever in china .
