　　v.(使)疲勞;

　　(使)失去興趣

　　n.輪胎

　　[記]音似“胎兒( ti-re)”。懷了胎兒，肯定很疲勞，對工作失去興趣。

　　[串]輪胎很容易疲勞。

　　[搭]be tired about 因為某事而疲憊(about表示“關于”)be tired of 厭煩某事(of表示”去掉”，厭煩一件事就想去掉它)

　　1.economic economical

　　兩者都是形容詞，但詞義不同。

　　economic意為“經濟上的”，“經濟學的”;而economical意為“節約的”，“節省的”，常用于“be economical of”結構。例如：

　　economic growth經濟增長

　　an economical person節儉的人

　　典型考題：Being of money，she managed to save enough for a holiday.

　　答案為B。句意：由于節省，她設法儲夠了度假的錢。economics經濟學，經濟情況;economies節約，節省，節儉。

　　2.efficient effective

　　形容詞efficient與effective都表示“有效的”。efficient指“有效率的”，“高效率的”，“有能力的”，常指人;而effective表示“有效的”，“效率好的”，“得力的”，常指政策、措施等。如：

　　a very efficient production manager 一位非常得力的生產經理

　　effective teaching 效果好的教學

　　3.electric electrical

　　electric與electrical均作形容詞用，但前者用來指“用電來驅動的”，“由電產生的”，后者為“與電有關的”。另外electric還可以表示“令人震驚的”。例如：

　　emotional與emotive并不同義，卻常被混淆。emotional表示“充滿感情的”，“易動感情的””，主語多為人;
