一、緊扣主題突出重點
動筆之前，針對提示的文字或圖片必須先認真審題，組織內容，構思提綱，理順思路，切忌偏題，離題，東拉西扯，不得要領，一定要避免累贅繁瑣，條理不清，重點不突出的失誤。
二、表達正確文字流暢
強調使用課本上學到過的單詞、詞組、佳句確保文章簡潔通順，切忌使用隨便從文曲星或詞典上找來的冷僻單詞，特別強調的是必須避免使用不規范的中文式表達，受歡迎的作文是用詞用句實實在在，樸實無華，清晰流暢的文章。
三、結構規范時態無誤
準確判斷時態，語態的應用，不能交叉混雜，這部分則能充分反映學生的思維判斷能力，分辨清楚正確的時態、語態將為作文潤色不少。
四、單詞、標點無誤
