“她”是我們的英語老師，姓鄭，便被我們稱為“老鄭”。雖然冠以“老”字，其實卻是“年輕又美麗的，絕對是顏值擔當。但是，她十分嚴厲，難得一笑。
作業不少。扭頭望向窗外的天空時，看到夕陽灑出赤色的光芒，天空仿佛又明朗了起來。記憶開始回轉。
上一個期末，復習緊鑼密鼓地進行著。那晚是老鄭的自習課，當最后一片火燒云熄滅，世間剛剛黯淡下來時，她走進了教室。和平時一樣，她一如既往地把話筒掛在頸上，擴音器別在腰間，手中一支翻頁筆上下舞動，一刻不停地講著，講著。
沒多久，下課鈴響起，不知是誰伸了個懶腰，發出一聲長嘆，大概是覺得能歇上幾分鐘了。可老鄭卻沒有絲毫想下課的意思，責問道：“下課了嗎！”

不知哪一天，幾個畢業生回校看看老師。他們曾是老鄭的學生，自然而然地找到了我們的教室。老鄭還沒來，班主任就讓他們為我們說兩句。他們是濟南外國語的學生，還都是其中的佼佼者。他們講出了與我們相同的經歷，同樣無休止的作業，同樣占滿黑板的板書。但老鄭卻是不同的。在他們眼中，她是出色的恩師，是和藹的好友。這著實令我們無比詫異。
此時，老鄭進來了。她看到如此出色的'他們，孩子般地笑了。我從未見過她笑得如此燦爛，兩個耳墜在空中搖曳著，映照出窗外閃耀的陽光。老鄭啊，老鄭，你笑起來真美。
此時的她，就是他們眼中的老鄭了吧。
恍惚中，我似乎明白了什么：她拼命地上課，拼命地批作業，都是期望讓我們變得與那些學哥學姐們一樣出類拔萃啊。
自此懂得后，就理解了她的一番苦心。
有些事就是如此，得等到時光的流水沖刷又退去后，我們才能知道一個人在我們心靈的河底饋贈了什么。
“這就是今晚的作業了！趕快寫！”課代表把半截粉筆丟進粉筆盒，拍拍桌子喊道。她絕對就是她的影子，我們都深信不疑。
