He likes swimming in the river in summer. Swimming can make him happy. His math and English are very good. Sometimes he teaches me math. Usually I read books with him.

　　今早，天陰沉沉的，我也由此心情不好，覺得無事可做，婆婆馬上向我請教英語，讓我當她的小老師。

　　我問她為什么想學，婆婆說：“小時候沒錢學，現在老了，想把它補回來，而且現在各國交流都用英語，我也想和外國人交流啊”。

　　我先教了她最簡單的'兩個字母“A”和“B”，我教她發音，她發出沙啞而奇怪的聲音，我覺得很好笑，但我忍住了。我又教了她如何書寫“A”和“B” 兩個字母，她的手像石頭一樣“硬幫幫”的，不是寫得很好，我就叫她多練幾遍，這樣就能練好的。

　　吃完午飯，我睡了一覺，起來已是四點，婆婆坐在衣車旁，我看見她戴著一副老花鏡，皺著眉頭，駝著背，彎著腰，用她那僵硬的手握著筆，顫抖地寫著字。我一檢查發現：她正練習“A”和“Ｂ”兩個字母的抄寫，雖然不是很標準，但也寫得很認真，我問她從幾點開始練的，她笑著對我說：“韋老師，我從中午１２點一直練到現在”。

　　看見婆婆那股認真勁兒，我有些慚愧。覺得自己應該向婆婆學習，你看，她那么老了，都對自己有信心，還心想著學習，無論做什么事，我們也應該對自己有信心。
