two-timing 腳踏兩條船的`
　　two-timing是形容同時與兩個對象交往，或是背叛自己工作伙伴的人。但一般來說，大多用在與感情有關的情況。
　　A: John is a two-timing jerk!
　　約翰是個腳踏兩條船的混蛋！
　　B: But you're dating three people at once...
　　但你現在同時跟三個人交往……
　　Mum's the word. 別張揚。
　　這里是在玩「媽媽」mom和「安靜」mum這兩個諧音字的文字游戲。因為有人快要說出敏感的話時，我們會發出Mum...這個聲音來警告他閉嘴，于是當我們要跟人保證自己絕對守口如瓶時，就會說Mum's the word.表示「除了mum之外，我什么都不會說。」
　　A: If you tell anyone, I swear I'll kill you!
　　要是你告訴任何人，我一定會殺了你！
　　B: Don't worry. Mum's the word.
　　別擔心。絕不說出去。
